Young Democrats of America is the official youth program of the Democratic Party. It encourage new members under the age of 35 to become active in democratic politics. The group gives new members the opportunity to meet candidates and take part in the many phases of election campaigns. The group also provides a forum for the discussion of issues. Young Democrats of America publishes the monthly Legislative Alerts, an annual Convention Program State Offices Directory, the quarterly Young Democrats, and manuals for voter registration.
